With over 35 years of experience in secondary education, Tutor Jes was founded on a simple belief: every student can succeed with the right support, guidance, and confidence.
As a retired secondary school teacher, I have dedicated my career to helping students achieve their full potential at both GCSE and A-Level. My experience spans decades of classroom teaching, exam preparation, and one-to-one support, giving me a deep understanding of what students need to succeed in today’s exam system.
I hold a PhD in Chemistry and have extensive experience teaching a range of science subjects, supporting students of all abilities—from those aiming to pass, to those striving for top grades.
Throughout my career, I have seen how personalised support can transform not only a student’s results, but also their confidence and attitude towards learning. This is why Tutor Jes focuses on tailored, one-to-one tutoring that adapts to each student’s individual needs, pace, and goals.
